In Tampa you will find many beautiful ponds and fountains, this is one such pond with statue of Metal Birds. Don't even dream about a swim in this beautiful pond, because this is the territory of the alligator featured in the previous post :)

Amf Bowling Center

Bowled!!

Amf Bowling Center in temple terrace is a nice place to hang out on weekend nights, Bowling alley is clean and modern, the music is great, also the crowd is good as it's right down the street from USF campus.

Hillsborough River

Walk Along the River

We love to take a walk in this pathway to catch a glimpse of beautiful birds. The Hillsborough river is home to many species and several large bird rookeries exist. When local students reach sixth grade in Hillsborough County, they take a visit to the river for one to three days to learn about the ecosystem at a place called 'Natures Classroom'.

Most of the trees in South Eastern part of the United States have such clustered moss/air plants growing on them. These mosses are commonly referred as Spanish Moss, biologically it is an angiospem, that grows hanging from tree branches in full sun or partial shade. This is one such tree from our office lawns.

Florida Alligator

Alligators are an important part of Florida’s heritage and play a vital role in the ecology of Florida’s wetlands. It is a must for all apartments and offices to raise a gator if they have any waterbody in their campus. A gator is usually brought in to such places when they are small. When they grow up bigger, they are replaced with another smaller one from the farm.
This lone gator in the picture lives in a small backyard fountain pond, in our office.

Siesta Key beach, is one of the finest White Sand Beach. A 40 min drive from tampa leads you here. This picture with seagulls flocking their feathers was shot during a beautiful sunset;

[Fact From Wikipedia], Dunkin' Donuts claims to be the "world's Biggest coffee and baked goods chain". Dunkin' Donuts, along with Baskin Robins, is owned by Dunkin' Brands Inc.

One such DD&BR around the corner of our residence. This shop runs 24*7 and yes, its drive thru after midnight..Delicious Hash-browns and a Cappuccino here makes your evening quite refreshing...

University Mall

Tampa University Mall

Small shopping paradise which bites big on our pockets. :)

This mall is the nearest shopping/recreation ground for us. The stores in cater all your apparel, shoes, beauty accessory needs.. Also the eateries out there are good enough to satisfy your appetite. You also have few movie screens out there 'Regal University 16' from the Regal Entertainment Group. Overall a nice place to hangout on a weekend for shopping...
